<notes>These demos were recorded on an original Mac mini, using version 2 of Apple GarageBand. The vocals and bass were recorded via an M-Audio Firewire Solo interface. The microphone used was my trusty Sennheiser Evolution 825S. The bass guitar was Erin-Michelle, my 1999 Washburn XB-100 4-string, recorded direct, using extremely old, dead, roundwound, Ernie Ball strings.

Only a handful of people had heard these demos before June 2006 (when I decided to put them on the Web). My friend Israel commented that the bridge in "You Get It" sounds like some radio hit, although he couldn't place the song; I maintain that the bridge is incredibly tentative, using a generic chord progression, and that I probably would have replaced it with something else in a final version. Any comments would be appreciated, as I may yet do something with these songs.</notes>
